This summer workshop allows students to perform a hands-on study of a local stream. By studying the water chemistry and a sampling of the macro-invertebrates found in the stream, they will be able to evaluate the quality of the stream, as well as learn about water-shed properties in order to determine recommendations for improving the stream's quality. Students must be comfortable getting wet. |
| Water Rockets | $65 | Please call | In this popular workshop, students learn about the physics of flight while building a water-pressured rocket, among other types of rockets. Students will get wet while testing their rocket. We will travel to the Oakton Community Park to launch our rockets. |
